In the spirit of the New Year, and doing away with the old and bringing in something new, I've decided to do away with my anachronistic name. There was much optimism that our victory in '06 would lead to serious impeachment proceedings, sadly that is not the case.

From here on out, I will be posting as 'Paint It Black', in honor of one of my favorite songs of all time.

Although 'BushOut06' may have been somewhat optimistic, at least we can count on that asshole being out in just over a year!

2. Actually

You just can't have two active accounts. I thought about changing my username awhile back and emailed the Admins with my questions, and I was told it was permissible to stop using one account and begin using another.

Change my name? I've already cleared it through Skinner, they're not able to simply give me a new username. I'm starting it as a brand new account, so my post count will have to start from scratch.

5. There was a one-time DU deal where we got to change our ID's

I changed mine from unidentifiedbassplayer, and I wish I had that back.

but several longtime DUers have done this.
