19. I'm doing 3 400s and 4 300s right now.
And my brain is going to explode.

Hence me posting on the boards tonight. I'm sick to death of school projects that have mandatory team participation when the other 4 members of the team won't do any work.

35. Don't tell me that kind of shit is common in college, too.
Edited on Sat Dec-01-07 02:57 AM by LibDemAlways
My daughter is a only a freshman in high school and already the group projects are coming fast and furious. And, the other kids don't seem to care, and are happy to let somebody else do all the work. I'm not about to let my kid's grade suffer on account of the shoulder shruggers, so I've had to take up the slack and help her put them together. We've already worked through 3 science projects, with a 4th coming up, and a huge geography project that she's doing virtually by herself. It's on China, and there we were last week, in LA's Chinatown looking for authentic arts/crafts for her to present to the class, along with a power point she's had to put together on her own. She's tried several times to get the other kids involved, but they repeatedly flake out. It's frustrating, and when I e-mailed the teacher about it, she didn't even bother to respond. She's a huge believer in "cooperative learning."

I hate this. Pisses me off no end.

12. I was afraid of the terrorist attack scenario until Bush saved us from all terrorism.
Now I'm afraid of not being able to pay my bills. Thank God the President saved us! Now we can focus on what's important; Bush's horrible economy and the long term damage he and his lickspittle party has done to our country.

33. Having to live in a fascist state with an idiot for president
and fools in the so-called Congress. That's really scary. Losing the freedom to travel. Losing the freedom of speech. Losing the freedom of religion. Losing the right of habeas corpus. Having my phone calls, conversations, e-mails, posts on DU, etc. heard and read by the KGB, Stasi or the SS or whatever new name is invented for it. Living in a country where the government can send agents into my house to look around at any time without telling me they are coming or after they have been there that they were there. Living in a country where the government knows where I am at all times. Living in a country where the government knows what books I read, what movies I see and cares about it. Those are things I really fear.

34. Fear of another poll on DU that asks those eternal questions...
Is (name your own noun) Myth or Legend?

Beat Your Wife? Yes or No.

Nazism or Buddhism? Please Explain.

Are you a Freeper? Yes or No.

Vote on this:
......1) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire.
......2) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire, but I didn't like it.
......3) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire, but I like cats.
......4) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire, but I HATE cats.
......5) There was a Soviet Empire?
......6) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire, but I used to be a Repuke, so I don't know. Reagan was fucking GOD! (A Freeper vacuum for sure! That'll smoke them out!)
......7) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire but I like Hillary.
......8) I actively participated in the downfall of the Soviet Empire but I like and anybody but Hillary.
......9) Other. Please Explain.

Oh, BTW, I have to post this poll and run to my appointment with the trainer. See you next week!

Skinner: Yes or No?
Mods: Yes or No?
Skinny Mods: Yes or No?

Am I drunk? Yes or No?

Are YOU drunk? Yes or No?

Have you ever owned a 1978 Pontiac GTO?
If so
.... Did you trash it?
....Sell it on EBay?
....Donate it to The Salvation Army?
....Give it to the Green Party?
....Thinking about donating to Dennis?
....Other, Please Explain.

You've eaten animals, right? Yes or No.

This poll is about something I know will either get locked or moved to the dungeon.
Ha Ha...
....Building 7 was an act of God.
....Building 7 was an act of the * administration.
....Building 7 was due to wind.
....Building 7 was a cozy nest to Rudy and his mistress and the demolition of the thing covered up his dalliances and proves that he was involved with MIHOP.....Jeeezzeee pick me for your vote!
....Building 7 was demolished because it was built poorly. So says that journal of believability, The Scientific American. (Where I learned how to know that air cars would be zooming around in 1993!)
....Other, Please Explain...

BUT IBTL!

37. Well, these for starters
That this administration will launch yet another “regime change” in Iran in the name of democracy and the efforts of those that care and who are trying to stop it are futile.

That no matter who wins the presidential race in 2008, it will just be more of the same, incompetence.

That we’ve already gone beyond the tipping point and Global Dimming and Global Warming will accelerate faster than a speeding bullet leaving no one behind to turn off the lights.

That there is a man, woman or child that went to bed hungry and cold tonight.

That there is a family that will lose their home and will have no place to live thanks to W’s economy.

That the nation has become so divided on nearly every issue, we can’t accomplish change on anything.

That the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class is nearing extinction.

That the nodule they just found in my cat scan is cancer.
