| Why does KO ALWAYS seem to spend time on Brittany Spears? |
|
It's disappointing. I turned him off.

| 1. Hahaha, me too. I couldn't stand the debate, reading it here and |
|
had KO on for background. The Closer is on TNT (repeats) if you're interested...lol.

| 2. I also do not like the last part of his shows. |
|
It concentrates on stuff that belongs on National Enquirer. I do not know if it hurts or helps his ratings.

| 5. I'm not sure that's his call. I think MSNBC makes him do it as part of the show's schtick. |
|
That used to be what they always made him do before he took off real big with the viewership. Nowadays, he has a bit more bargaining power with his employer.

| 3. Forced to.. he doesn't always have final say on what airs |
|
on his show. He usually precedes those stories with something to the effect of "my producers are making me do this story". I think if KO had his way it would all be hard news...

| 6. Historically, KO balances substantative reporting, serious opinion, and a little pop criticism |
|
Even way back in his Sports Center days.

So now they have to try and drag the kind of people interested in Britney into watching real news.
I'll deal with Britney baloney if it creates more informed citizens since there is virtually no other voice on cable that tells the truth.

Not with all the incredible meat on the show tonight. Anyone who watched the debate instead should catch it on the re-air. Incredible.
