What's the most idiotic bumper sticker you've ever seen?
I don't mean the garden variety low-brow ones that threaten to flick boogers on your windshield or brag about their pets or offspring...I mean the overtly political ones.
I swear I saw my Most Idiotic yesterday. On the left side, a cartoon FIST, on the right an American flag, and in the middle the message: DON'T BURN MY FLAG!
At times during the past seven years, I've been pretty ashamed and embarrassed to be an American, but I've never in my darkest moments wanted to burn a flag...until I encountered this fuckwit. But I gotta do it in his front yard.

2. Adoption not abortion
I want to RAM those cars!

It betrays a total ignorance of what women go through pregnant against their will, facing injury or death during childbirth, and facing a lifetime of depression after surrendering a child they will never be permitted to know.

The stories of birth mothers are heartbreaking. The stories of children who grow up manufacturing all sorts of fantasies about why they were given away are just as heartbreaking.

When it is voluntary and open, it can be a beautiful thing. When it is forced by the state and the culture, it is the ugliest thing done to women.

7. I (heart) my wife. It's a promise keeper sticker.
First of all, the promise keepers are misogynist fuckwits, and second "I love my wife" beats even "my kid made the honor roll at XYZ elementary" for shit I could care less about. I know it's a shock to some people, but the state of a complete stranger's marriage doesn't really matter to me, except perhaps to wonder why on earth one would reduce such a complex relationship to a bumper sticker platitude. Or if the bearer of said sticker has ever once washed the dishes so his wife could get to bed early.

Way to encourage bullying and discourage learning.

And, then, a really classy one: Ditch the Bitch, let's go hunting (or, on some, fishing).

I know those aren't political but they bother me more.

45. Ever notice how poor drivers invariably sport flags and "support troops" magnets...
...on their stadium sized vehicles? The sort of drivers who do something stupid, and then get pissed off at everyone else who is forced into reacting to the situation they caused. Exactly. Then again, I've come to see our flag as creepy as hell because of what it says about the person who apparently feels the need to display it to the nth degree at all times. Can you say BRAINWASHED?

An apropos bumper sticker I saw read:

When I first espied this bumper sticker on a contractor's lumber-laden work truck I thought, "Cool! An MLK bumper sticker on a good ol' boys pickup!"

Silly me.

As I got closer to the guy's truck, I saw the "I Have A Dream" quote next to a picture of the U.S. Capitol building.... over which was flying the rebel stars and bars flag.

That scored as the most hateful sticker I've seen; second place would have to go to the guy with the "Jeff Davis Was Right" sticker accompanied by one reading, "Happiness Is A Warm Machine Gun."
