Spoiled brat needs babysitting
The Senate has to stay in session for Thanksgiving so he won't sneak in another recess appointment. He also refuses to appoint Democrats to important bipartisan commissions. One would think that he would pledge not to make any appointments so public servants could enjoy their holiday. But nooooo, not him.

1. At least some Democrats are willing to forego Thanksgiving
at home to do the babysitting.

This is a criminal administration. At some point, they will have no choice but to remove them.

2. Hopefully, it's the local Dems who have volunteered to do the job
you know, the ones who can make the commute to DC without interfering with their own personal time.

5. I know Virginia's Jim Webb is one of the volunteers! I am so proud he's MY Senator!
What a relief after years of John Warner and George "Macaca man" Allen...

8. Your Senator is serving ALL Americans this holiday weekend!
I hope DEMS all over the nation remember this when he needs to raise campaign funds!

3. That was a thought that I had as well...
"This is a criminal administration. At some point, they will have no choice but to remove them."

Unless the citizens of the United States don't mind a Dictator staying in power, someone is going to have to grow some and deal with these people at some point in the very near future!

6. My understanding is, there's only one Senator involved. . .
Jim Webb, who was picked because he's one of the least senior senators and for his home's proximity to Washington DC.

Webb called the Senate to order yesterday (11-21), then promptly adjourned 22 seconds later. All he has to do is return three days later (this Saturday) and repeat the procedure to keep the Senate from being declared in recess.

So he won't miss Thanksgiving with his family and Bush won't be able to subvert the Senate's authority.

Sad to think, something so simple could have spared us from Bolton et al. Well, not really, since the Republicans controlled the gavel in those days. But it's good to know someone's read their Robert's.

11. Thanks. That's good to know. . . .
At least the task won't fall on any one Senator.

4. It really is an incredible commentary on where we are.

Reminds me that some juveniles just can't be rehabilitated; they need detention centers.

7. Yeah, this is just insane. We have to have people call a session every
so often (can't remember.) Gavel to gavel? Whatever that means.

Anyway, we have to set out the guard dogs to keep a nasty, mean-spritited, petty, insecure, dry drunk, AWOL fratboy from getting up in the face of the public (fronting for a bunch of criminals) so he/they can continue on in their lawless and anti-American destruction of this country.

Look how low our poor country has fallen.

10. And sadly the real problem lies with having taken Impeachment off of the table...
There is so much evidence to go with as far as Impeachment is concerned, and they just won't get into it... sad...

12. It is sad.
The petulant, spoiled frat boy has
to be politically maneuvered against
to keep him in line.
