Just one more thing I don't like about Hillary Clinton (okay, two things).
Just watching the morning news, and video of her recent campaign appearance; the freakin' Orwellian backdrops! They're sooooo BUSH. They look like they're straight out of the Bush graphics department, which obviously consists of some punk twenty-something who just figured out how to use the "Bevel & Emboss" filter in Photoshop. I HATE THOSE fucking banners. I half expect the next one say "Sit Up Straight and Zip Your Fly."

Oh, and they played her latest New Hampshire-only campaign ad, which just started airing yesterday -- in it she claimed she'd be the one candidate who can stop corporate tax loopholes. How stupid does she think we are? It makes the "trust" matrix go down even further when the biggest corporate shill in the race is claiming to be anti-corporate. Say anything. Pander.

Puke.

1. Thanks for the info on what you hate about Clinton: what do you hate about the other candidates?

2. Let's see...
Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 09:45 AM by Atman
I concerned about some of DK's recent votes, which seem anti-children/anti-education, but I admit I'm not up to speed on the particular bills.

I'm leary of Obama's lack of experience, though it's not a deal breaker for me.

I think Bill Richardson is turning out to be too flaky and uninformed to be a good president.

I don't like Dodd and Biden because they represent "old school" Washington, and are the antithesis of fresh ideas and forward-thinking.

Who am I leaving out?

(ON EDIT: For the record, I never used the word "hate." I said "don't like.")

4. Well, yeah. You'd left all of them out
you'd left all of them out in favor of yet another anti-Clinton thread.

5. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the race.
My concerns are legitimate. And my motivation was not just "another anti-Clinton" thread. I haven't seen anyone mention those horrid backdrops, the very same ones so many DUers posted about when George Bush started doing them. Why should Hillary Clinton be off limits to the same crit?

6. You misunderstand
No one is suggesting that Clinton is off-limits (and that is laughable based on the 100's of posts that are solely designed to attack Clinton). The issue is that this IS just another anti-Clinton post. Why single her out? Why not discuss your concerns in the context of the election rather than pile on with yet another "this is what I hate about Clinton" thread?

You have some keen observations with regard to other candidates. Why contribute to this hate-site?

7. But I DID...the backdrops and her "corporate tax loophole" bs ARE in context!
Is your objection my subject line? Feel free to suggest a new one. But I'm totally serious about the backdrops AND her BS ad saying she is the only candidate who will fight the corporations. That is ludicrous on its face! She is "the corporations'" darling! She's the last candidate we should expect will reign in corporations! And again, stop saying that I said "this is what I HATE about Hillary Clinton. I don't hate anything about her, and never stated that I did. I said this is what I DISLIKE about her.

3. No, no. You can TRUST her because she gets hospitals to pay for bone marrow.
But don't TRUST her to explain how that makes sense.

8. I've missed that gem.
Part of her health care "plan," obviously. What's it about?
