Mad Magazine strikes again!
I get Mad for my kids every month and they have been just slamming the right wing for the last couple years. This one made me laugh out loud. Even though it's not exactly funny if you know what I mean.

8. One of my favorites...
...from just before the 2004 election. When I was a kid, Mad used to take shots at political leaders (after all, they had Dick Nixon to kick around!) and issues, but I don't think they were ever as pointed as this.

24. I (sort of) remember reading my first MAD
Back in 1964, I believe---my sister brought it home. I quickly got hooked. It was one of my major childhood influences.

9. thanks for this upload. I saw it in this month's issue and thought
how relevant this mag still is. And I still laugh at most things in the mag. And yes, I'm another adult who bought a subscription for my son....so I could read it.

25. Mad Magazine is a living testament to the First Ammendment.
If we weren't a society that values (at leas, we still do) the right to satire, then it would have been sued out of existence a long time ago.

Bush Announces Iraq Exit Strategy: 'We'll Go Through Iran'
March 9, 2005 | Issue 41•10

WASHINGTON, DC—Almost a year after the cessation of major combat and a month after the nation's first free democratic elections, President Bush unveiled the coalition forces' strategy for exiting Iraq.

"I'm pleased to announce that the Department of Defense and I have formulated a plan for a speedy withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq," Bush announced Monday morning. "We'll just go through Iran."
