Priest Accused Of Stalking Conan O'Brien Reported Missing
Reverend David Ajemian Said To Be Homicidal, Suicidal

BOSTON -- The Massachusetts priest charged with stalking late night talk show host Conan O'Brien has been reported missing by his father.

Boston police said the Rev. David Ajemian was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Saturday on Marlborough Street. They consider him homicidal and suicidal, and issued a radio broadcast urging anyone who comes into contact with him to use caution.

Police said Ajemian is known to frequent churches and chapels in Boston's Back Bay and Copley Square.

On Friday, Ajemian was found fit by a New York judge to stand trial on the charges. He later posted $2,500 cash bail.

The suspect's father, Robert Ajemian, said Ajemian has been receiving treatment for mental health problems.

November 10, 2007 -- The Boston priest busted for stalking Conan O'Brien said yesterday that he hoped that by cozying up to the comic, he'd impress Archdiocese higher-ups and advance his career in the Church.

"I guess I felt I was getting an inspiration to get him to acknowledge me in a way that would promote me as a priest," the Rev. David Ajemian told The Post after he was released on bail.

"Also, I think he's a wonderful comedian, and I'm a bit of a comedian myself, so there's an element of fun in it for me as well."

Authorities didn't find Ajemian, who called himself O'Brien's "most dangerous fan" and allegedly once followed the star to Italy, humorous at all.

BOSTON - The Roman Catholic priest accused of stalking
talk show host Conan O'Brien was admitted to a hospital
for evaluation yesterday after briefly going missing.

The Rev. David Ajemian was reported missing by his father
about 3:15 p.m. yesterday after he had not been seen for
nearly three hours, police said in a statement.

Boston police were told that Ajemian's "mental health may
be of concern." He returned to his parents' home in Boston
about 7 p.m. and voluntarily went to a hospital, police said.
