He was on last year and didn't make one intelligent statement. He even said he thought he was just supposed to be there for comic relief, and he failed at that too.

It was Dana Carvey. Martin Short was good last night; not as good as Markos Moulitsas or Alison Stewart, but he made some good points.

5. Best show of the season! Do watch it.

The interview with Valerie and Joe was really good. Best line: "If someone met with, say, a Russian journalist and passed on that kind of information, what would you call it?" They also got the point across, without a shadow of doubt, that she was covert and was working on WMDs.

Jeremy Scahill's interview about Blackwater was chilling. I need to watch it again to really absorb it.
