Senate '08: Maine DUers or those in the know: Do you think that Tom Allen can beat Susan Collins?
Rep. Tom Allen vs. Sen. Susan Collins of Maine. Both are considered popular. I'd like to think this is a race somewhat like RI in 2006 with a moderate GOP Senator up against a Democrat who actually represents their states values more so than the incumbent.

What do you think?

2. Only if third parties get on board.
We need all liberals to hold there noses and get behind ANY democratic candidate so we can get her gone.

3. Good luck with that. You'd have better luck (and higher numbers) reaching out to
Repubs.

I know Baldacci looked into IRV but the price tag was too high. Really so sad that we couldn't get it done. :(
