dead fish carpet Sanibel Island, Fl. beach

http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index.php?smp=&lang=eng

Sanibel Island Mayor Mike Denham is calling for a massive cleanup after hundreds of dead fish washed ashore Saturday. Dead fish and jelly fish lined the shore at Lighthouse Beach, including a 10 inch hammerhead shark. Water quality has been an issue and a concern to both island managers and residents since both Bowman and Blind Pass beaches were closed for weeks. Local leaders have been blaming the problem on a bad sewage system. "What concerns me is, what is killing them? You look at these people in the water and you ask yourself, should they be out there," said resident Teri Scott. The normal tranquil nature of the island's beaches is hoped to be restored as soon as possible. Mayor Denham said that he thinks "this tragedy may be a case of red tide that could have moved down from the north, but that is just speculation on his part." He hopes to have the beach cleaned up by Sunday evening.

3. Oh no.
Bowman and Blind Pass are such beautiful beaches. I've spent many a day on both- in the water a lot of the time.

4. My parents used to vacation on Sanibel Island
Now they live half the year in Bonita Springs instead. I can't say as I am a big fan of FL, but I did love swimming in the clear, warm water and seeing wild dolphins.

8. I'm no Florida fan
but my parents bought a place there 20 years ago, and I've used it quite a bit for quick getaways in the winter. It's right on the beach.

10. i wonder if the bushes were testing another MOAB again.
They have tested those Mother-of-all-Bombs in Florida seas before.

it was not the terrorists.
it was not 9/11.
it was not saddam hussein.
it was not valerie plame (they just wanted her removed from blocking their objective).

it was just the bushes
letting 9/11 happen and/or being complicit in it.
it was lying about saddam hussein so they could invade and occupy iraq and steal their oil.
it was not valerie plame who betrayed the country. she was doing work so iran could not get nuclear weapons.

it was, is, and shall be the bushes who have betrayed the united states.
it was, is, and shall be the bushes who are mad with greed and the quest for power and control.

it was, is, and shall be the bushes who are killing us off with their only care about money and oil attitude/philosophy/religion/narcissism/sociopathy/evilness/delusional disregard for america.

it was, is, and shall be the bushes ... the ones, the real terrorists, the real enemies.
