4. When I was there in 1980 you NEVER saw 'blue'. When I lived there in 1993...
it was nearly as drab. Some advertising gave some color.

Maybe they could try planting pine trees instead of regular trees in open spaces and along the streets... since they stay green in the winter.

9. I have been by those buildings, pre-dayglo
It may make them a little easier to look at from the outside,
but it doesn't make them any more pleasant to reside in once
you pass the front door.
