It is not the words "betray-us" that
has people so outraged.

It is the fact that the truth of the situation in Iraq was brought to the masses using the kind of tactics the populace has been taught to pay attention to.

And the truth is ugly and uncomfortable.

Shouldn't wanting honest answers from those in authority, facing facts that need to be faced, no matter how unpleasant, and moving to resolve the situation be everyones goal?

Peace should never be a partisan issue.

All this outrage over an ad- where is the outrage over the dead and dying?

Where is the outrage over the deceit and lying?

2. Do not think
rove is out of the picture... he is in the background. Hiding behind anonymity. he will be thinking up talking points that will bear a air of truth to them because they were not directly from him. Beware is all I am saying. not to sound paranoid but the rove spin machine is still plugged in. make no mistake.

3. That's how I see it. The RWers is the only ones who were "outraged."
And they used that "outrage" to keep "wavering" senators from voting against Bush and for proposals such as the Webb amendment portraying any such vote as a vote for Moveon. And it was successful, at least in the short run. Only a handful of repub senators defected and the Webb amendment was killed.

Our revenge will come in '08, when those who did not defect will have to defend themselves in the elections, even though the RW outrage may have been "successful" in the short run.
