My Son Went to See Ted Nugent Last Night
Nugent appeared at a casino here in South Louisiana, and when my son said he was going to see him, I told him about the recent controversy over THE song that threatened H. Clinton and Obama. Son said if Nugent sang that song, son would stand up, yell something and walk out. I had to laugh. Anyhoo, son reported this morning that Nugent didn't sing THE song, even tho this is a very red area. Said there were tons of songs about freedom, supporting the soldiers, proud to be American, etc etc, along with his old stuff. So, guess Nugent has given up THE song threatening our Dems?

Who knows.

1. Nugent should write about what he knows.
Things like wearing a big, red rubber nose, oversized floppy shoes and a flower that squirts.

11. 15?
Oh, way too long in the tooth. The Nuge's favorite saying was "Get 'em before that can dial more than seven numbers". From what I understood from guys on his crew, 12 was more like it.

2. Was it a pay venue?
It'll be a cold day in hell before I pay any of my money to watch that talentless twit.

His politics aside, I've never found him to be worthy of an audience.

6. Agreed. However, I must confess that I saw him in concert during the sumer of 78'
but the true headlining band was "Eddie Money." ;)

Nugent was a meatball even back then ... a one hit wonder, more or less. Cat Scrach Fever? My ass!

IMO Ted Nugent is a fair guitarist but many in the college crowd considered him LAME in the 1970s. Now ole' dried out human being, one each, Ted Nugent, is just plain comical and SAD. :P

13. That's what happens to washed up entertainers.
They can't make it in the 'real' business so they either go 'Gospel' or they wave the flag. Examples are the Oak Ridge Boys and Charlie Daniels. Waving the flag is a cheap way to get applause. If you can't get applause using your talent just Wave 'Ole Glory'.

7. I'd venture that if one is not confined to a "power chair" they're A-OK to enlist.

12. Why did your son support this coward with his money?
Ted Nugent is a lousy musician. I am a professional musician and have worked many of the same venues this coward has worked.
He is not respected in the industry. He was just a lucky idoit in a 60's band that shit in his pants to get out of serving his country. :dem:

14. He was a last minute fill in for our local fair
They needed one more act for the fair and evidently they overturned the rock he was under - I don't know what kind of turn out he had as I was holding down the fort in the dem booth at the other end of the park.
