We're pretty close knit, and we hang out a lot outside of work. I don't think any harm was done.

You never really know about people.

I have seen "good friends" at work turn on each other real quick in matters that one friend thought were "joking" comments.

The friends became adversaries in nasty sexual harrassment cases.
