"Creating Terror": I RATE THIS FOUR STARS WITH A BULLET!!!
Edited on Fri Aug-17-07 06:01 PM by Junkdrawer
If you have ever suspected that maybe al Qaeda isn’t everything we’re told and that maybe they are an all-too-convenient replacement for the now defunct Soviet Union, I urge you to listen to this speech:

Part 1,
ftp://www.radio4all.net/pub/files/[email protected]/2704-1-20070720-creating_terror_part1edited.mp3

Part 2, (Q&A):
ftp://www.radio4all.net/pub/files/[email protected]/2704-1-20070720-creating_terror_part2_edited.mp3

About the speaker:
Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed was born in London, England in November 1978. He is of Bangladeshi origin. He is a political analyst and human rights activist, specialising in Western foreign policy and its impact on human rights. He is Executive Director of the Institute for Policy Research & Development (IPRD), an independent, interdisciplinary, non-profit think tank based in Brighton, UK. The IPRD conducts research and analysis of local and global society for the promotion of human rights, justice and peace. IPRD briefings and reports are distributed to political representatives, NGOs, various media, research libraries and members of the general public in the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe and Canada.

I found the above speech by following the links in reprehensor’s great thread “Deconstructing ‘al Qaeda’":

1. Despite the horror of 9/11, Al Quada has been the "other" for
the government to "protect" us from. Keep buying those bombs.

3. I have a couple of his books here;
he is an erudite and intelligent man, and deconstructs the "terror" business with great thoroughness.

He's worth reading, and well worth listening to (he has a very clear voice, too, should you get to hear him on video.)

6. There are four;
That's not really enough to pick a favourite!!!

as for links, most of the links I have are interviews; for some reason, his speeches don't get taped!!!

(the sound on this is awful, but it's worth trying to listen to)

Oil, Smoke and Mirrors has him speaking in large bits too:

8. You're welcome!
I have to admit that voices mean more to me as I get older; Ahmed has a fine voice, with an understandable accent!

5. It seemed pretty obvious to me
that al-Qaeda was a made-to-order terror outfit when I found out that the terrorists and finances for 9/11 came from countries (and people) that are allies of Bushco.

10. Strange how not one Arabic name
was on the AA 11 passenger manifest. Strange how none of those al-qaeda clowns, even if they were really on board, was capable of even flying a stinkin' Piper Cub, much less a 757 at high speed, and couldn't navigate their way out of a gunny sack, much less execute a 7000 ft descent at high speed combined with a 330 degree turn and come in perfectly on target skimming the ground in a perfect landing on the backside of the Pentagon, away from Rumsfeld and the brass. Strange how prolonged uninterrupted calm conventional cell phone conversations could come from a plane moving at 550 mph at 35,000 feet. Strange how the 911 Commission claims that nobody knew that UA 77 was coming for the Pentagon till it hit, when ex Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, who was there with Cheney in the White House command bunker, claims that Cheney knew about it at least 20 minutes ahead of time. And did nothing. Strange how WTC I, WTC II, and WTC 7 all collapsed at free fall into their own footprint. Strange how a steel frame building has never ever collapsed due to a fire the world around - until these three did, in a perfect footprint collapse with actual pulverization of the girders and all the stuff inside. Strange how the media started publicizing the al-Quaeda names supposedly responsible the same day of the attack. Right on cue. Strange how the 911 Commission fudged the timelines from the original Sept 18 reports, to make it look like the FAA was responsible for not alerting the military - and the original FAA testimony to the effect that they had really alerted the military was suppressed. Yes very strange.

14. wow, you better hold on to your hat
the 9/11 government story is the only correct one. The rest are tinfoil hat territory and conspiracy theory.

18. K&R--"the now defunct Soviet Union"
Yes! When the Berlin Wall was torn down in 1989, there was 4 years of relative peace before the first WTC attack occurred.

<First> World Trade Center bombing

Allegations of FBI foreknowledge
In the course of the trial it was revealed that the FBI had an informant, a former Egyptian army officer named Emad A. Salem. Salem claims to have informed the FBI of the plot to bomb the towers as early as February 6, 1992. Salem's role as informant allowed the FBI to quickly pinpoint the conspirators out of the hundreds of possible suspects.

Salem, initially believing that this was to be a sting operation, claimed that the FBI's original plan was for Salem to supply the conspirators with a harmless powder instead of actual explosive to build their bomb, but that the FBI chose to use him for other purposes instead. <10> He secretly recorded hundreds of hours of telephone conversations with his FBI handlers; reported by Ralph Blumenthal in the New York Times, Oct. 28, 1993, section A,Page 1.<11>

In December 1993, James M. Fox, the head of the FBI's New York Office, denied that the FBI had any foreknowledge of the attacks. The 1993 WTC sting operation was depicted as a false flag operation and was a plot device for the 1996 movie The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis.

Wikipedia

From communism to terrorism; from Communist to Terrorist...four years of peace simply wasn't a money-maker for the military-industrial complex.
