Poll question: Did Rove Resign To Make It Easier For Bush To Pardon Him?
Edited on Mon Aug-13-07 11:32 PM by orleans
and i mean pardon him for any fucking thing that might be down the road--the attorneys, blowing off subpoenas, plamegate & the wilsons lawsuit, the jack abramoff bribes business that i saw posted around here earlier....

is this "resignation" a way of getting a pardon by saying he no longer works at the white house (ala libby) so a pardon is okey-doke?

2. What? When has Bush ever cared what appearances are?
The answer: No.

He's going to manage the next GOP candidate's campaign. His work for Bush is done, and he's riding off into the sunset.

7. That and to try to put another loser in office,

possibly Fred Thompson since Rove is leaving August 31 and Thompson is expected to announce that he's in the race after Labor Day.
