Is anyone else all debate-ed out?
It's just August 2007 .... and I'm already sick to death of Election 2008. :puke:

11. Ditto, here
Of course the election cycle is way too soon, but I love it. We get to hear what they really think and it gives us time to make our choice.

This is my drug of choice, I am a politically junkie.

Keith was the only reason that I tuned in. I knew that he would be fair. Peace, Kim

5. I've watched all of the Democratic events and,
yes, it's getting old because you never hear the questions you want to hear and it's just their stump speech highpoints and rarely anything new from one to the next.

6. The election now is going to be a lot more fun to watch
then when they start swift boating. Once that nonsense starts I go full media blackout.

Debate tonight was fun to watch. You could hear the crown booing and cheering. Candidates showed good solidarity but also jabbed a fair amount.

8. Things are just getting started.
As several candidates noted tonight, we're starting early because it's the closest we can get to hurrying George out of office. I'm glad to see the end of the love fests. Now we're seeing the differences among the candidates so we can choose who we want.

10. Yes...it's like going down the Veggie Aisle in Grocery Store...and what looked good in Spring
you know is "out of season" or "past it's prime" in August.

I have to root for our Dems who are still out their SLOGGING AWAY dealing with the M$M..but..it's TOO MUCH for SUMMER...and everyone will be tired of this by October.

I feel bad saying this...because we used to think the MORE THEY SET THEMSELVES OUT THERE...the better the Electorate (You and Me) would be able to look at them and cast our vote with Proper Knowledge.

BUT..it all seems very orchestrated and contrived. Even though KO did a great job of bringing in new POPULIST VIEWS to the Stand Up Talking Heads.... Aside from Bigger Applause and Audience Reaction to the Candidate Statements ...I didn't see the Candidates answering any better the REAL QUESTIONS "KO" proposed than a choice of Chris Matthewes, Time Russert or any others would have been able to do.

 Just my opinion ...worth maybe l-Cent...about this..

14. How could I be sick of the debates?? --I've only seen two "debates",
One was after the actual debate by Dems, courtesy of CNN, on regular TV at 3 AM. :eyes:

The other was a Republican "debate", broadcast last Sunday on This Week with Stephanopoulis

That's it. It's fucking un-American!! The shutting out of voters. :grr:

I guess I'll just make my choice from what I can glean from the internet.

What it does show me, is neither party gives a crap what I, a lowly non-cable non-subscriber, thinks!

That will surely bite them in the ass, come election day! ;) Count on it!
