The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting
Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Cpl. Jason M. Kessler, 29, of Mount Vernon, Wash., died July 30 in northern Iraq of wounds suffered
from a rocket-propelled grenade. He was assigned to C Company, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment,

link for anytime the media or some blow hard tells you about the "progress in Iraq"
The new phrase is; "We are seeing progress in the security operation but the political
progress among the Iraq leadership is lacking." NPR today ... some repug congressman
from Illinois .... he also talked about needing a win too :puke:

3. Poor kid, poor family. But he's dead. He needed the love when he was alive.
Maybe he wouldn't have joined, who knows.

And now we can't say it "was in vain". That would be breaking the Unspoken Commandment.

5. How Many
You need to ask the Congress, not Mr. Bush, it's the Congress that keeps providing the money so that other Corporal Kessler's will continue to die. So ask them how many more will die for their lack of courage.

Corporal Jason Kessler
You did your job, but you did it for the wrong reason, the wrong people, and the wrong man.

Rest in Peace Troop, may you find what you need on the other side.
