Car chase choppers down. Did I just hear right?
The driver of the car they were chasing is going to be charged with their deaths? WTF? Did I really hear that right?

If that particular stretch can be made, then every single viewer should share the same responsibility for creating the market in which such footage "sells".

Pilot error and the collective ghoulish, voyeuristic stupidity of the whole bloody United States are the proximate and ultimate causes of this incident.

2. Idunno. It was the last line of the report. And I don't know if I heard it right.
That's why I'm asking.

3. how would this even be possible ?
who suggested it in the first place ?

5. Sorry. All I know is the 2 min soundbite on seven news (Aust.)
One teen's description was they crashed into each other and the wing (i presume rotor) came off and they tumbled down. Both exploded on impact.

Then it was the live feed from one chopper and finally the car being stopped in the usual metal bending fashion, and what I thought I heard.

7. Was it a police chopper or a news chopper?
If it was police in a valid pursuit then I can see it. But if its news then they are on their own.

10. You heard correctly.
Why are not the cops charged as accessories for chasing the guy in the first place? after all if they didn't so publicly chase this perp, there would be no news and the crash and death would not have happened.
Or if the TV stations had not setup the helicopters in the first place, this would not have happened. What are those responsible for the news being charged with?
If some out of control prosecutor is trying to make a name for himself, why not go after all involved. Do things really right.

13. They may try, but let's all remember the four guys just doing their jobs, and their families tonight
Scott Bowerbank
Craig Smith
Rick Krolak
Jim Cox

Now a police officer has been shot.

A lot of very upset people saying whatever pops into their heads...
