Family Emergency: Need Power of Attorneys from parents
I downloaded some fill in form from the internets. I am just wondering if they are sufficient? Do they need to be notarized? It will be a very confing place where they will need to be executed.
There are mobile notaries you can call. They are more expensive, but worth it if someone cannot get out. Make sure it's the correct kind of power of attorney also. There is the regular one and durable. I'm sorry to say I don't remember the difference. I used durable for my mom when she was sick and the only trouble I had with anyone accepting it was the IRS.
