I CANNOT STAND the way the MSM covers medical procedures....
I don't have much time for this b/c I'm in the middle of seeing patients but:

These morans on the Networks perform a real disservice to the population as a whole. I don't even know where to begin:

1. BREAKING NEWS...BREATHLESS NEWS: for routine tests
2 Consternation and faux (pardon the pun) concern and faux foreboding "this could be the big one"...
3. Condescending explanations of what the procedure is, highly simplistic, and the worst part of that...the absolutely WORST part...is the constant repetition and back-tracking during the explanation, parsing all the info so no one can ever accuse the correspondent of over or under stating the situation.
4. Slightly less obnoxious is the fact that the same phraseology was used the week before when someone else had that test or procedure and no attempt is made to vary the symphony of pseudo-professional phraseology, so you know you've heard it before verbatim. The reason for this is that the 'correspondent' is devoid of the skills required to properly report the news, so they're left with one phrase of the jargon. If you have a guy like Gupta, he knows what is going on, but then lies anyway b/c he's paid to be a shill. But that's for another day/post.

5. I could go on and on...but there are teeth needing to be drilled...

PS All of the above exemplified by the non-stroke suffered by a Democratic Senator....DOOM AND GLOOM!!! BALANCE OF POWER SHIFT!!! Quickly adding..."Of course everyone including the Republicans, want to see him back on his feet and healthy."

Yeah, sure...
