It's total News Corp. synergy! Rudy Giuliani teased his presidential campaign plans for the gazillionth time to Sean Hannity on Fox News last night, but let's talk about the nutty Post cover of Giuliani and wife Judi Nathan making out. Okay, they aren't making out - it's apparently an arty photograph for the next issue of Harper's Bazaar. Even though the picture makes us want to dig out our eyes, Judi looks like a foxy femme fatale. And then we read the Post article:

"I've always liked strong, macho men, and Rudy - I'm not saying this because he's my husband - is one of the smartest people on the planet," gushed the former Judith Nathan to Harper's Bazaar in editions due out Feb. 20.

"What people don't know is that Rudy's a very, very romantic guy. We love watching 'Sleepless in Seattle.' Can you imagine my big testosterone-factor husband doing that?"

19. Rudy News: According to NY Daily News (via NY Magazine), his former mistress

is again working with him!

Cristyne Lategano Nicholas is getting behind Rudy Giuliani again. The former mayor's onetime right-hand spokeswoman reached out to former members of his administration yesterday to get them to come to a breakfast fundraiser Friday at the Regency for the Republican, who filed his intent to run for President yesterday.

"It would be a wonderful opportunity for us to all get together to show our support for our former boss," wrote Nicholas. "He gave us all the opportunity of a lifetime to be part of his historic tenure at City Hall."

Nicholas received another opportunity of a lifetime a fter Giuliani left, and she got a gig as head of New York City tourism. Now she has her own company.

Giuliani, who distinguished himself on 9/11, just got an 80% approval rating from voters in a Time poll. But high-level GOP sources tell us Rudy may have trouble getting his party's support after "holding out" on Rick Lazio, who entered the 2000 Senate race against Hillary Clinton after Giuliani pulled out due to prostate cancer. "He had $3.4 million in the kitty and he only gave 10% - $340,000 - to Lazio," notes a source. "He pulled out of the campaign late, and it's believed he didn't want Lazio to become the party's leader. He didn't want Lazio to overshadow him." Guiliani still has $2 million in donations from that campaign.
