Bush to Declare Gains in Iraq on Some Fronts; N Y Times

Remember back in school when they would let you grade yourself on some test or project? You knew it wasn't a "real" grade. Isn't this the same thing?
Should anyone take this report seriously?

2. I was like when I took "Bowling" as a college gym class (really)
It was a Pass/Fail class. All you had to was show up once a week at the 10-pin alley, bowl 3 strings, paying 3 dollars a week, and at the end of the class, if you didn't throw a gutter ball, you passed.

Iraq seems pretty much that to him (I give people free use of my metaphor ... you're welcome).

4. We know
that places like Think Progress will do a good job at showing all the falsehoods in the report.
Wouldn't it be a pleasant surprise if some MSM like the NY Times or CNN also reported the blatant lies there?
