1. That was my first thought when I saw "Poway, Ca."
The company was practically a postal box, anyways.

2. Yep, and there's a Del Mar and a Rancho Santa Fe, both places used by Duke Cunningham.
I wouldn't be surprised, in an indictment within the scope of this matter it was alleged that Duke Cunningham made these guys get him a hooker while on a lavish trip to Hawaii. That shows a willingness to use the services of a prostitute.

11. I did a reverse look and they came back as cell phones. the first number above is a Verizon
Both are based in Poway. I actually started to take a look at court records for the cunningham criminal trial, but if i start that I know what it will cost. (PACER accounts(court access on line) are available to anyone, takes a week or so to get your password though.)

But look at this TPM story on a real estate deal with Delay- Buckham. >http://www.tpmmuckraker.com/archives/000197.php

Yesterday I started checking numbers in the early groups and found real estate companies, one in southern Calif., advertising international real estate business. And thee were others that turned up as real estate agent number. CGL has a list of numbers with corresponding people, some are agents. Its coming up enough to make me ask why?

They also were the big push behind the small business health insurance fight involving the senator from Wyoming(Enzi). they were trying to get cheap health plans offering crap that business would sell, allowing them to profit where insurancde companies had and rip small business and employees off. It was defeated, It was a huge fight and many here worked to defeat it.
Point: is it possible the real estate lobby groups were involved with prostitution with senators and congressmen?

Here it is:NAR Welcomes Sen. Enzi's Small Business Health Care Bill
WASHINGTON, November 03, 2005 -

The National Association of Realtors® today welcomed legislation put forth by U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee Chairman Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) to help small businesses provide affordable health care benefits to their employees. Chairman Enzi introduced the Health Insurance Marketplace Modernization and Affordability Act of 2005, S.1955, to allow small businesses and self-employed workers to band together through a trade or professional association to negotiate health insurance coverage for association members.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed small business health plan legislation with bipartisan support in July. President Bush pledged his strong support for small business health plans in his speech at the Realtors® Midyear Legislative Meeting & Trade Expo in May, generating a standing ovation from thousands of Realtors®. Realtors® have sent more than 150,000 letters to members of Congress this year urging them to enact small business health plans. http://www.realtor.org/press_room/news_releases/2005/enzisbhcbill.htm

24. I don't think this is a minor coincident. Real estate firms were a heavy force behind
senator Enzi of Wyoming, and the Health Modernization Act. This act was defeated when every patient advocacy and womens health care advocy groupp in america flooded the capitol. i pushed hard here at DU as did plenty of people who saw the disaster this would be if passed.

25. And that passed in '03, right? Hmmmm --
the list I'm looking at are calls from fall of '03 and a previous list was before that.

I couldn't access your link, and I'm sorry for being naive to this subject, but, what was the motivation behind the Real Estate firms supporting this bill so stridently?

Another angle as far as the realtors are concerned may be that they were buttering up wealthy clients who purchased properties?

Anyway, I'm just surprised at some of the frequency of calls, in one day, within several minutes of each other.

Thanks for the info.

27. A larger umbrella organization, a huge and extremely powerful organization
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 01:56 AM by caligirl
convinced small business this would be good for them. What they were really going to do was get into the business of selling these cheap and ineffective policies to small business. real estate organizations aided this powerful organization by pressuring congress. If I can reacll this manufacturing organizations name I'll post it. Can't recall it now. A lot of money was at the root of this.

This has a complete history of the bill S1955.
