Comments to Cafferty - people are waking up
Q was "Is the Iraq war all about the oil?"

Every answer he read but one was along the lines of "of course it is." A couple even managed witticisms: "Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back?" and "Is McDonald's all about the hamburgers?"

Seems like some folks are starting to get the picture into focus.

6. My question to Cafferty would be this...
Does your recent criticism of Mr. Bush mean that you are no longer an ultra-right-wing loon?

Remember when you conspired with the corporate media campaign to paint Hussein as the next Hitler, and told your viewers that we had to invade Iraq to protect ourselves from his WMD stockpiles?

CAFFERTY: Let me ask you this. What do we do about the issue of Saddam Hussein? This guy has been in violation of 16 or 17 U.N. resolutions over a period of 12 years that have called upon him to disarm. He lives in defiance of the international community. There is every reason to believe that he possesses things like botulism and smallpox vaccine and nerve gas. What ought to be done with this guy? He's thumbing his nose at all the civilization countries in the world by refusing to comply with resolutions that the French government, along with a lot of other governments voted for.

"It's a red-letter day here in America," he said. "Air America, that communist radio network, starts broadcasting in a little while." Cafferty was unyielding when CNN colleague Soledad O'Brien responded by saying that the new talk-radio network was not communist but liberal. He replied: "Well. Aren't they synonymous?"

and...

Do you think people should get to keep their high-paid media jobs after they flee the scene after they ran over someone with their Cadillac?
