2. No. Must post about LEDs and Biden.
Amazing how the Conyers hearing was squashed by those two non-stories, no?

Alas, I am blinded by a Corporate Cubical and a Corporate No-Straming policy. I yearn for real information. It's always such a great priveledge to read the live-blogging posts of such events put forth by some of the Angels of DU. Yesterday's DU, with the torrents of inane posts, was a drought.

4. strong speech

strong speech by Hilary. Kooch is my man, but when he smiles like that, all ecstatically, i'll admit he's a little creepy. Hil really nailed it, but i can't help but feel she's all bluster and compromise.

How was Clark?

5. I watched the entire thing. We have the most wonderful group of Democrats running this time.
For the first time ever, I've found myself 'touched' by John Edwards. I've always thought he was a fake and wished Elizabeth would run instead of him.:) Today, his speech warmed my heart. Wes Clark was great, but didn't seem to have much 'support' present at the meeting.:( His speech was great though. Chris Dodd said everything I wanted to hear. I loved his speech. Kucinich was Kucinich. Always standing for what's right. The end of his speech was a little hokey though. His wife, Elizabeth (?), must be a calming force because he didn't scream today.:) Hillary was her usual charming self. Too bad she won't apologize for her IWR vote. Such a shame. I've always hoped to campaign for a female Presidential candidate in my lifetime, but it won't be for Hillary unless she takes a DRASTIC turn on Iraq.:( All in all, I enjoyed the entire thing. It was great seeing Howard Dean too.;)
