3. I'm happy to hope for the same
He certainly would be cut from a different cloth, and has the capacity to do amazing things.

Much would depend on how firmly he embraces his core beliefs, and the courage he shows in pursuing the elevated vision.

Edwards For President.

6. My prayer........
Listen God and Al Gore.......
We need someone who knows what they are doing especially regarding foreign affairs!
Please Al, you know that the Republicans, as much of a sorry lot as they are, would be more likely to win if someone who has not shown competence in the area of national defense becomes the Democratic nominee....and I can't even fanthom 4 more years of hell!

Seriously, and as you know, God and Al, this is simply not the time for a Trial and Error nominee!

Please run Al!

7. The dark forces behind the Presidency would start planning another Dallas motorcade.
Until the people start getting the unvarnished truth, 'American democracy' will remain a dog and pony show.

By the way, I do think Edwards is a great candidate. It seems more often than not, however, the best candidate does not get elected. If by chance he/she is elected then some kind of (character) assassination will follow soon thereafter.

8. Hell, I'll settle for "not one of the worst"
An Edwards administration would be awesome, but I'm still rooting for Kooch - i think he'd take this country to a new level.

The rethugs and the media want Hillary or Obama......They are both praising them and pounding away at Edwards.

Check out Edwards for yourself.

14. I hate to admit it, but his hair has always bothered me.
I know it's pretty shallow of me, but he has always seemed a bit fake and when I try to pinpoint why I think that, I realize that it's because his hair is too perfect.

Reminds me of a passage in the I Ching: "Lends grace to the beard on his chin" - "The beard is a superfluous ornament. To devote care to it for its own sake, without regard for the inner content of which it is an ornament, would bespeak a certain vanity."

18. I have an idea for a survey it goes like this
Put together say twenty questions that cover all the topics of interest. Send those questions to all the candidates to answer. On a website post each question followed all twenty answers (blind).
Not knowing who gave what answer the survey would ask to rate each answer 1- not agree 5- completely agree. When the survey is complete it would tell you which candidate you agreed with most.

21. I don't see why not. I think there are a bunch of people
who would be surprised at who they actually agree with when they can't use their preconceived notions.

17. I heard him speak last fall and he was inspiring, and real. No syrup.
It's lovely. He's the anti-chimp. He doesn't over play his hand and schmaltz it up, but he's warm and passionate.

Believe me, you could get used to seeing him on your TV real fast, as would the rest of this frightened planet.
