Letter to Clinton
We sent one via the campaign's Web site this evening. You can see a copy on my blog: http://eyeblister.blogspot.com

1. Good letter!
Thanks for writing it. I wish I thought it would change her campaign's ways, but I'm glad at least that someone will read it and know what effect their nastiness is having on the real world and real Democrats.

3. My wife read it and said, "I hope they pay attention to that!"
Then she said, "No, wait, I hope they don't!"

2. It appears that the Clinton camp is accelerating its death spiral.
In the end, it won't be Obama defeating them as much as them defeating themselves.

Obama just has to keep pointing out their negative strategies and tactics (neutralizing them) and there will be no more fangs that can strike him.

4. I'm astonished, actually
Bill Clinton used to be a brilliant campaigner, but his contribution to his wife's campaign has been to hurt it all the more.

Perhaps the Clintons' campaign brilliance was suited to a certain time in our history, and they can't adapt.

5. I think that's true
People are demanding more from their leaders after seeing Bush failures and the uncertain state of the world. The economy is in a shambles and everyone knows someone in trouble financially, if they aren't themselves.

Bill is a smooth talker but he's lost credibility, and he's going with old outdated tactics that just don't make it with the new, younger voters. And Obama has been hitting exactly the right notes. I think being a community organizer has really given him an understanding about how to communicate with people.

6. It was me! It was this letter!
This is why Ferraro resigned and Clinton apologized! I'm so proud of myself!

Well, okay, maybe there were a few hundred thousand gazillion other letters with much the same content, but still.
