President Obama has finally drawn a line in the sand over government spending – he’s told the Republicans that he will veto any bill that comes his way that includes cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and he’s also unveiled an ambitious plan to reduce military spending and raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans. As usual, the GOP has countered with their own plan – a plan that includes entitlement cuts and tax increases on working Americans.
