1. Thanks for posting
she made a lot of sense and she did great imho, also in explaining Kyl-Lieberman (not that I agree).

2. So the sense of the senate did what to Iran?
Scare them into submission? and to who? Yes, that'll happen huh? What rhetorical spin to get out of the fact of her voting for something she shouldn't have voted for. There was only one purpose for that vote and we know it. That purpose is to lay the grounds for war with Iran.

4. actually, I agree with her, and if it weren't for the crazy a*s running the country
her vote would be reasonable and with foresight to continue diplomacy. Unfortunately we have Kim-Jong-il-like nut-job in office who will twist anything to a go-ahead for war.

11. Really disappointed she voted for that Kyl-Lieb-AUMF against Iran Guard
Wished Olberman would have challenged her response to that question a little more. Like.."Based on how these referendums have been used by this administration in the past and all the WH rhetoric to justify attacking Iran, was this a very smart thing to do? She did say she voted to make sure Bush had to get senate approval to attack Iran but Bush still says he doesn't need their permission. Olberman could also have asked..."Why not condemn Saudi Arabia also for supplying foreign fighters as half the fighters in the insurgency come from Saudi Arabia? Also knowing how badly Lieberman wants a confrontation with Iran why lend credence to a measure he introduced knowing he would try to use it for justification to attack Iran?" She was singled out btw because she's running for president...Sen Durbin is not. Clinton should be called out on her response to why she voted for that senseless senate issue.

8. Only intelligent answer to give."Don't have to be 'against' anyone
just vote for who you want"... I mean really that isn't side stepping anything. It was an extremely intelligent answer.
I'm still with Gore.

5. You know she wants to attack Iran, although she won't admit it.
Did anyone watch the YouTube posting of her answering to Code Pink. She specifically said that she authorized the war because she knew that the Europeans wouldn't step up to the plate. She said that the Europeans didn't have it in them to do it, and that there was no leadership on that side of the ocean and that it was up to the U.S. to take the lead on this. I tell you right now, if that doesn't sound like the rhetoric of all the Republicans I have ever seen trying to justify some kind of military action then I don't know what is. She has the same mentality that all the war-mongers we've ever had in Congress have used to justify policing the world. She believes that the U.S. is showing "leadership" when we go around attacking people and I think she's dangerous.

9. Don't believe she 'wants' to attack Iran. But do believe that if diplomacy
fails and Iran becomes a threat she would attack them. She has to be seen as being capable of doing either to have the "leverage" to negotiate with them, that is her philosophy. She is not a neocon and she is not a Bush. But she does want to appear to be strong, she's just not insane or a war monger like those who "pushed" to attack Iraq. Remember she believes strongly in developing alternative energy and not letting big oil write our foreign policy.
Big difference.
Kucinich/Edwards '08...the truth ticket...the only real change. Unless Gore runs.

13. So if Gore runs
how do you feel about a Gore/Kucinich ticket? or even visa versa? I say Gore/Kucinich as Gore has so much more experience and I think he deserves it seeing as how he won in 2000.

7. I saw the interview last night and I think you
are all not listening to what was said. Gore hates her and makes no bones about it. She praised his win but didn't fawn all over him like you wanted. I say she is not a phony and didn't play up to him like a lot of fake people will. Why do you want him to run? He will suffer a great deal of hardship if he does.
