As far as I know, Cantor has not invoked any religious attitudes in his anti-American, pro-Koch policies. To cite his religious beliefs in this instance is offensive. And, no, this is not the same as the Bachmann Terry Overdrive (from the 70s - ask your parents). Those clowns invoke Jesus as quickly as easily as they blink. So calling them on this is fair game. And if Cantor cited Jewish law or guidelines, then he would be fair game as well. And, no, his atttitude is not consistent with the practice of Judaism, but we don't know that he does practice or what his religious views are. At least I don't. And I may be wrong. But the comment seemed really out of line.
