1. So with all those presidents vowing to decrease dependence on foreign oil,
why weren't any of them able to achieve it? I'm sure they all had plans which made sense and could have been implemented. What happened?

What makes us think the next president - Obama or another - can be successful?

2. Let's Nationalize US Oil
THAT would allow us to do as we wished....

the oil companies will never change as long as it is more profitable to do what they are doing now....no ain....no change
