3. What regulations are they talking about?
minimum wage? groundwater pollution? air pollution? they never say, "this is the regulation standing between us and job creation".

4. I didn't hear any applause when he said he'd tell Obama to end regulations.
Usually, you'd hear whooping and applauding before the politician ends his sentence. I heard virtual silence.

I think this regulation canard has been played out too long. I hope the lack of applause is a sign that people are waking up to what's really bringing this country down...too much catering to the rich and powerful at the expense of the middle class.

6. Please, oh PLEASE keep trotting out that line...
The idea that TOO MUCH regulation is stifling the economy is one thing that even the dumbest Americans are no longer going to buy...the memory of the banking fiasco of '08 and the total lack of accountability for the crashing of the economy - tied to the fact that MILLIONS have lost homes and nearly EVERY AMERICAN knows at least one brother, sister, cousin, friend or relative that lost their home due to unregulated bullshit banking - means that the idea that "cutting regulations" will magically sprout jobs is not going to fly any more.

Once Perry starts getting serious exposure for his crack-pot religious beliefs, the well-spring of support for him is going away like raindrops in the Sahara!

14. No regulation was one of the causes of the Great Depression
of the 30s, especially lack of regulation of the banking industry. Amazing that any politician would call for deregulation. I guess that appeals to people with little knowledge of economic cause and effect.
