3. Hello?.....
...last I heard it has or is almost paid off
Also, it was not money given to GM as you think like your other tea bag friends do!! It was a LOAN !!!!!!

Therefore my friend, it is a profit well earned.

2. A reasonable man
He calls himself a market socialist, which I (a former Republican) would now identify myself as. But he's giving GM props for their profit-sharing move. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can forgive GM for now and cut them some slack for having done this. Good deeds need to be rewarded. I can't say that too often or too loudly... good deeds deserve rewards! Granted their wages for new workers ain't so hot, but again it's better than moving to Mexico.

I'm even happier that I bought the 2010 Equinox a year ago. Its gas mileage beats even the Highlander Hybrid or Ford Escape. Still, though, I'll be keeping an eye on GM.

My question is... which standard is more important when it comes to parting with your money... a company's ability to make more environmentally-friendly products or how they treat their workers?
