Big talker Scott Walker ends interview saying Wisconsin is not going to do what Illinois did via raising taxes and losing jobs and he is now balancing the budget... Let it be known that Scott Walker has lost jobs for Wisconsin and he left Milwaukee Co. with a deficit and didn't work with a budget as the executive of Milwaukee co. He sent a multimillion dollar high speed rail to Illinios...

But, in November, Wisconsin elected Scott Walker--whose idiotic and short-sighted blather had been against the train. Today, citing Walker's objections, the Feds de-funded Wisconsin's future. Our business will not have a quick link to the lucrative Chicago and Minneapolis markets. Nor will the 6000 construction jobs go forward here.

Even before being elected, the feckless Colorado Spring native Walker--mouthing not Badger bi-partisan progress but the current Do-Nothing national Republican Party talking points--has put up enough obstacles to destroy a vital link to our past and the very promise of our future. His name will live in infamy when the history of this great state is written--but some day the high-speed train between Chicago and Minneapolis will be built. And it will go through Wisconsin.

MJS: Feds will pull, redistribute state's high-speed rail money

Wisconsin can keep only a fraction of the $810 million it won in federal high-speed rail money, while the rest will help fund train lines in California, Florida, Illinois and other states, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced Thursday.http://faithfulprogressive.blogspot.com/2010/12/scott-walker-destroys-wisconsins.html

3. Is he spinning or underestimating?
If he thinks the turnout so far is a handful, then he really needs therapy, not a position as a Governor.

I guess he needs more people to show-up and join in solidarity then. So be it?

12. Yep, the first line of his on-line bio says the following.
"The son of a preacher,"

You just know he grew up in a radical Christian fundamentalist home.

15. Thus to him, unions = Original Sin!
I have always thought the RW ideology was more of a religion than anything strictly political.

16. Something like that. With these RW religious nutjobs
it is really hard to say how they arrive at their conclusions.

14. What an ass!
America expects the armies of Egypt and the other protesting countries to stay out of it.

I want to see a statement from the Wisconsin guard telling Walker to pound sand, that they will not be the instrument of his tyranny against unions.

Hey, I finally got to use "tyranny" in a post!
