Bob Herbert, NYT, made Rachel squirm a little at the end when he pointed out her dogged coverage of DADT.

"I think a good example if I have a quick second is the way you pursued on the air, for example, the Don't Ask, Don't Tell issue and all of the other people that were involved in that. They would not let that go and then something big got done. That's really important."

I didn't mean squirm with a negative connotation. Rachel was dogged, just absolutely hammered on DADT day in and day out. She really cared about it. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but even she seemed to realize with her comment before his that she had gone way, way, way, way beyond observation and reporting and deep into advocacy.
