News article about this: Allan Hall, "Switzerland considers repealing incest laws." The Daily Telegraph: December 13, 2010.

Cenk even went as far as to debunk conservative fears stemming from Rick Santorum's infamous "man on dog" interview: the law only makes it legal between two consenting adults. I'm all for individual rights for adults as long as they don't harm others not partaking in their actions. As far as LGBT rights go in Switzerland, same-sex couples get only "registered partnerships" not marriage, which means no adopting kids/fertility treatments/surname changes. So I guess Santorum can suck it once again? The individual rights argument falls apart though when one of the partners gets pregnant: as there are genetic issues with kids born to incestuous couples.

Cenk and Ana also discussed the case of the Columbia University professor who was arrested for alleged incest with his adult daughter.

1. eeek! I've met Epstein several times, big guy in the discipline.
He studies voting behavior like I do. What the hell profession did I choose? One former prof is now building a machine to talk to Jesus and UFOs, and this colleague is a sex perv! Not to mention all the profs I know who have sex with their students, and marry them!

2. Switzerland - Incest
An American, I lived in Switzerland for 20 years. While your
report on Swiss insect legislation may give your viewers a
(hyper) liberal impression of that country, I may remind you,
their general anti-immigration posturing, not to mention the
prohibition on the building of Islamic Mosques, caused quite a
stir here in Europe, and the Arab world, the past year. ..I
dare not go there, but, ..do they show support of incest
because it's preferred a Swiss sleep with another Swiss then
with a Muslim, or any foreigner for that matter? ..That might
seem absurd to you, and should to me. But I lived there.
Believe me, the Swiss are a different Animal than you and I.

3. Cenk maybe a good political commentator, but he obviously has not clue about personal relationships
and he should just shut up about them.
