The 4'11" videographer from this thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=385&topic_id=482859&mesg_id=482859 was interviewed yesterday by David Pakman. Compelling interview, she goes through the backstory and aftermath is fascinating to listen to. Btw, looking at her picture, she seems quite attractive.

2. As a woman...
As a woman I can say that although this woman's behavior is a bit quirky, I find her incredibly brave and inspiring.

7. She wasn't.
The cop was very professional. I'm sick and tired of seeing the police in this country abuse their power. When they do their job right (as in this case), they should not be vilified.

The woman is a drama queen who is having a field day with her video.

9. Either you did not post the sarcasm icon'
Or you watched some other than the original video of this incident.

Those are the only 2 reasons I can come up with.

11. The person was not a cop. If you listen to the interview, you
Find out that they are a fire fighter.

It is a shame to see that so many people have accepted the notion that life in a totalitarian state is fine.

6. I'm not so sure...
I think many police officers, firefighters and medics go to great lengths to protect the privacy of people that are injured or sick that they are treating. I wouldn't want some lady video taping me if I was the worker. Ambulance services and medics all have to abide by HIPAA, etc. Honestly, I thought the police officer actually was pretty polite with her. When she started spouting off, "that's not what they told me", etc. I probably would have said the same thing back. I know I wouldn't have had as much patience when she started ranting. I also wonder how edited this was. Now, on the flip side, he could have just explained the privacy laws, etc. and they should have had a clear perimeter set up with police tape. What she wanted to do outside the zone could have been done with no obstruction at all. I've seen police officers grab tape recorders and cameras from people running up on accident scenes taking pictures of the deceased before notifications have been made. I have also seen them arrest people for not following instructions around accidents scenes. I don't think this rises to that degree BUT, I imagine they are dealing with a good variety of wackos on a daily basis. Just my .02. I think if BP had been alot more open with what the heck is going on, not as many people would be playing reporter.
