5. We took our teens down to this FUN event in D.C. So different than the Inaugural:

It was warm and there were PLENTY of port-o-potties! And so different than the marches and protests here over the years...

Highlights this time were the cool Bucky geo dome with graphics ON the dome cover, the portable wind generator, YES the SOLAR BUS, and then later singing civil rights songs at the Museum of American History's Greensboro Woolworth's Lunch Counter exhibit.

Washington is a grand city that never fails to foster a sense of pride in this imperfect but evolving country of ours!
