A "gulag" is generally a labor camp and specifically one created by the USSR.

Is this a labor camp where people are taken care of better than in the free world? A camp only for doctors and nurses? A camp where political dissidents are forced to clean up the OR? Will the guards speak Russian?

4. Take away choices???

Many of the currently uninsured poor Americans will be allowed access to Medicaid in the Democrats plan. To say this will limit their choices is crazy. Limit their choice to be uninsured? Is that really a choice that people want somewhere?

And to compare Medicare to Gulags is absurd. Gulags were secret prisons that tortured their prisoners, not government subsidized health insurance for poor people. The most ironic part about this is that Cornyn actually did support setting up secret prisons that torture (enhance interrogation techniques) their prisoners and still stands by that decision.
