Things have certainly gotten much worse since then. And look at what little has been done since them. Especially by the U.S. who SHOULD be leading on this issue. (17% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020, President Obama?! - NOT ENOUGH - this is pathetic!)

WHY do appeals like this go forgotten - relegated to the dustbin of Time - until our cities are submerged and our rainforests are deserts?

THEN will we sit there and whine: "wellll, nobody could have known....." ?

Probably so. Ugh. We're barreling toward an environmental 9-11 and NOBODY (governments I mean) is doing a DAMN thing. They're all worried about what it'll cost them if they DO anything. NONE OF THEM are thinking about what it will cost if they DON'T. Effed up priorities and short-sightedness duJour. It's EXACTLY what got us into this mess and the same thinking is NOT going to get us out of it.

OH HOW I WISH I was not stuck on the same planet with the NIMRODS running the governments who are allowing this to continue unabated. Unfortunately, I will suffer the consequences of THEIR inaction, no matter HOW MUCH I do personally for my part. IF I HAD CHILDREN, THEY would also suffer those consequences. You'd think these bastions of "morality" would at least PRETEND to care about the future of the children!

Nope. None such.

And so still they twiddle. And still they piddle. As if we have ALLL THE TIIIIME IN THE WOOORLD. :eyes: I just want to SLAM their fool, greedy, short-sighted heads together! NOT DOING ANYTHING OR NOT DOING ENOUGH ABOUT THIS ISSUE IS ITSELF IMMORAL! THAT MEANS YOU OBAMA - and the entire US! What the HELL are you waiting for? HELL? Well. It's coming soon enough - but by that time, it'll be TOO LATE!

Unfortunately, $ is always the issue and for those who are dying and who have died of cancer, and those who are suffering from diagnosed and undiagnosed heavy metal poisoning and are being treated by our corporate run medical system, I wish us all well. We are fucked unless something major happens soon.

I have loved this video for years and for those who don't know what she has done since then it is worth investigating. Raise your children well, people. They are our future.
