We do know that George Will represents a segment of conservatism that has not COMPLETELY lost their fucking minds. :fistbump:

So where were all these common sense calls in 2002 and 2003, when the "conservatives" were cheering on the
whole fabrication of the WMD myth?

What these so-called "conservatives" need to finally face is that they were the ones who hadn't had a feel-good
march-in-and-get-the-bad-guy action since Desert Storm, and they wanted to do it again. That, plus Cheney needed
to get Halliburton's stock back up to levels where his 200,000 options would look good. Algebra time, boys and
girls. How much is 200,000 X (87-19-1)? That's how much Cheney made just off ONE Halliburton stock option position
of his that's public knowledge. I talked with a friend from Iran today, and Cheney STILL has his house on the Iranian
resort island of Kish, right across the Persian Gulf from Halliburton's new home of Dubai. Oh, and just how diligently
did Rumsfeld look for that $9 billion in cash that nobody ever found?

About the only protracted, careful deliberation I see or hear from America's right wing these days is about tacticas
on how to bring the Obama administration to its knees. Our heroic patriots, conservatively using protracted, careful
deliberation. No wonder they're not skilled in the use of the phrase. They had to look up what it meant first.
