.. is that it's entirely too logical.

The people who want and NEED us to stay in Afghanistan for decades are not using our logic. they are using theirs. And their logic is OIL/Energy based.

to come here and "get them".

5. Afghanistan - the truth is vastly different,

it is all about driving the Taliban into Pakistan, thats the whole idea, when will Americans realize this is not a war on terror, it is a clash of civilisations, it is a war on Islam. The US has been waging war in Pakistan for almost two years, it might be with the use of drones and remote vehicles, but the consequences are no different - in fact worse.

The US will not stop until it has realized an almost total occupation of the last area of untamed eastern Europe / central Asia is controlled by their interests - it is the new south america.

The US will complete what the British failed to do - however the US have failed to recognize the simple reality that the USSR, Pakistan, the British and anyone else who has tried, has failed - the old adage - don't invade Russia in the Winter applies here as well - just don't invade.
