2. We are already doing that and people are so happy to have

what they want written down so that isn't a big struggle and surprise for everyone. From my experience, those who help direct how they want their end of life care can actually have a much better experience then those who leave with no plan kicking and screaming wanting the breathing tube and that last dose of chemo. Their families really appreciate having a plan too so they don't have to make such important decisions. If a person decides that they do want to go to the hospital and get more treatment they can go off hospice at any time(but I think that interfers with their ability to go back on it afterwards).
