Negrito, if you want the clear racist implication, would translate to "Little black boy".

| 7. Yeah, the word "negro" means "black," |
 |
but it's diminutive form "negrito" has a pejorative connotation, and it's especially bad in this instance because the speaker is using the term to describe the President of the United States.

| 8. Lots of Democrats support this fascist coup. |
 |
It doesn't surprise me in the least. The Democratic Party is a work in progress, an amalgam of antagonistic ideologies. The good new is that the US position is at least 50% correct. They just need to follow words with actions and withdraw all aid and recognition.

I see people saying negro means black in other languages. It means black in german also. No one is saying hooraay for the Coup.
Overreacting some?

And what does his skin color have to do with it? Are you seriously defending his use of such language?
It's not good practice to "call out" other posters by name; please review the many Honduras threads to see the apologists for fascist coup.

 |
I am old enough to remember when racists, attempting to diminish the social status of a black person, would not acknowledge his adulthood by calling him "boy."
The only kind of democracy this guy would like to see the US defend is Bush's kind: authoritarianism, elitism, open oppression, rigged elections, torture, injustice, graft and unnecessary wars for the glory of the jefe.

I'll translate it really easy for you: this guy is a pompous, racist jerk. He's accusing Obama of "not knowing" where Tegucigalpa is located, whereas they are the ones who know where Washington D.C. is. They have to "instruct" those on the north on how to do things in the south.
This guy is just an idiot. He is power drunk to say the least, and must be swimming in cash from those that bought him off.
