3. Good for Norah O'Donnell that she scored Archie Buchanan.
She's sharp and can be punchy in the daytime. Contessa Brewer, too.

7. Pat really pissed Norah off. He was offensive and nasty.
I'll bet lots of women watching his display felt just like Norah.

12. Pat B would piss off almost any modern-minded woman.
Don't even have to be much of a liberal. I did like how Norah kept her sense of humor and laughed raucously after she set Pat off (and she knew exactly what she was doing and who she was dealing with) by suggesting that maybe there hadn't been any qualified white males.

5. Pat Buchanan is an "Affirmative Action appointment" -to meet the retard quota
Sotomayor has the experience:
-served as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit—one of the most respected courts in America—for the past decade.
-She also served as a federal trial court judge, presiding over about 450 cases.
-She will bring more federal judicial experience to the Supreme Court than any justice in 100 years.

Sotomayor really not that liberal OR conservative:
-She was appointed to the federal bench by President George H.W. Bush.
-When she was confirmed by the Senate for the appeals court post in 1998, she was supported by 25 Republicans, including seven who remain in the Senate today
-Ruled against EPA and for Power Plants in past case
-In some cases she's been for a business plaintiff, and some against
-She's EXTREMELY pragmatic. I challenge anyone to research her past cases and try to label her any other way.

I know it's a stretch for Conservatives, but Pat Buchanan needs to pull his head out of his ass.

6. Still not sure what is wrong with affirmitive action
There is only one woman on the bench, not very representive of the country at large. Sotomayor is more than an able judge and a great choice as far as I can see.

8. yep
yep.

and, I have no problem with it as long as the candidate is qualified. And, with her credentials and experience, how can anyone not call her qualified.

9. Well, at least everyone doesn't know she looks at porn.
Me? I like porn! But I'm not on the Supreme court and if I was, I wouldn't lie about it. And I'd never sexually harass an employee!

What the hell am I talking about? Affirmative action Supreme court judges of course.

At least this one is indeed qualified and not a parrot.

11. I was too
Although the republicans may be committing political suicide going after Sotomayor, if they think the Hispanic vote isn't going their way right now, just wait until the vague or not so vague race baiting starts going full swing. They just may lose the Latino vote all together in 2010.
