5. Wow - I watched it last night and have to
say - Cramer came to the show with his tail between his legs. I wonder, did the big execs over at CNBC reign him in and told him to sit there and take it? That was such a different attitude as compared to Cramer's round on the Talk Circuit just a few days ago ... If he were to say one more time about all these CEO's lying to him as an excuse ...

6. What. A. Fraud.
Cramer, I mean. I mean, how can he get up every morning and look himself in the mirror?

7. To Cramer's credit (and maybe CNBC):
He showed up and was basically humble.

Stewart, however, wasn't satisified with 5 minutes of humble. Part II illustrated that, and took a chunk out of Cramer's butt.

11. Okay.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE when John gets tough w/ people BUT........you're right. He came to the show excited to talk politics and as you say "humble." I have seen way more controversial figures on Johns show who have done and said way worse shit and he didn't ream them this bad, I have to wonder............WTF!

12. Cramer essentially called Stewart a liar. And CNBC is godawful.
But you are right, he has let others off too easy.

13. Stewart plays his role selectively, and he has every right to do so.
Edited on Sat Mar-14-09 08:53 AM by Buzz Clik
When he appeared on Crossfire and Tucker wanted to have a giggle fest, Stewart got serious and showed his teeth.

When Cramer appeared on The Daily Show, Cramer wanted a light-hearted exchange (in which Cramer was willing to admit being wrong about taking Stewart's jabs too seriously), but Stewart had a real ax to grind.

Stewart has been accused multiple times of not being consistent in his attacking bad actors (Scarborough is just the latest to do so), and Stewart points out that he is on Comedy Central and not obligated to be serious at all.

To be quite honest, if Stewart ripped the hell out of everyone who deserved it on his show, I'd quit watching. I have no desire for The Daily Show to morph into an O'Reilly Factor or Countdown.
