Medicare does work.... socializing healthcare would free up business from a burden. They'd be ideological fools not to support socializing it.

4. Howard Dean is so competent in getting what the American

people need. I wonder how this plan to allow those to choose a medicare delivery system vs. the one that Dennis Kuchinch says allows people to use a single payer delivery system? Anyone know?

10. That was great but I think he missed an opportunity to educate the audience

By allowing EVERYONE to buy into Medicare we can (hopefully) get the costs of Medicare down. We can bring younger, healthier people into the plan who can help subsidize the older, less healthy members of our population over 65. One of the problems with Medicare is that it has a group of people, who by virtue of their age, tend to have health problems. If we can get EVERYONE into the same pool, we can reduce Medicare's cost per person.

I also didn't hear any plan to get rid of Medicare Advantage. That needs to go, imo.
