1. I saw part of it,

the last couple of minutes.

That foul fuck, Beck, didn't let Kucinich finish one fucking answer. Talked over him, was stymied when Kucinich told him - the great researcher, Beck - about growing up in poverty. Shut him up when he told him how he (Kucinich) had run his own business.

Beck was only interested in posturing and making his own points. Rude, vile prick. I was really annoyed just seeing those few minutes of this interview. But, everyone should see it, just so that we don't forget what kinds of slithering morons we're always going to be up against.

By the way, there's a great chapter by Dennis Kucinich in the late, great Studs Terkel's book, "Hope Dies Last." Anything by Studs is great, but this one is especially appealing.

2. Plenty of "poor people"

have started businesses, with a bit of a hand many more could start small businesses. But there is no way they can compete with huge corporations that can vastly undercut prices in their stores.

6. You are correct of course, but they also have a hard time

competing with Chinese workers making pennies per hour. We need to have an import policy that forbids imports from countries that will not adopt and enforce strict wage and hour laws, EPA rules and OSHA rules equal to or better than ours. That alone would go a long way toward restoring manufacturing in this country.

The other thing we need in this country is a MAXIMUM wage law for companies that are INCs, LLCs or anything other than a sole proprietorship or employing more than 50 people.
